FortyTwo

I'm a graphic designer and illustrator
based in the PNW

I began my career in the Graphic Arts Industry in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Arts from California State University, Chico. I furthered my education in 2011 with a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Fashion Design/Merchandising.

After many years of working with small businesses, building their marketing strategy and design, I opened 42 & Company in 2016. 42 & Company was a small gift shop that worked with local artists in building an exciting and comprehensive artist's co-op for the residents of the South Sound. Unfortunately, with the state of the economy, the brick and mortar store where 42 & Company had it's humble beginnings had to close. But the spirit of 42 & Company lives on with FortyTwo.  I use my creative talents and my passion for the oceans to create unique textile designs digitally, prints swimwear and apparel on fabrics made of recycled materials (like the water bottles filling our oceans and water ways). These products are eco-friendly and comfortable. The perfect match.

I also have used my passions for spreading awareness about the state of our oceans with the creation of a ohildren's book titled "Little Lenny and the Big Ocean Problem", as well as children's book illustrations, and more!

My latest project is close to my heart. I have decided to utilize my ever growing sewing pattern collection, my 20+ years of sewing knowledge, and my trusty SINGER sewing machine to create myself a new wardrobe that perfectly reflects my vintage style. I plan on doing this utilizing natural fabrics wherever possible.
